Plan your submission for SAHM’s 2013 meeting in Atlanta!

Online submission for SAHM's 2013 annual meeting will begin in June. We look forward to proposals fitting next year’s meeting theme, We Can All Be Healthy: Achieving Health Equity for Adolescents and Young Adults. Submission of educational sessions including Workshops, Institutes, SIG Panels and Professional Development Lunches will open on Wednesday, June 6 (and close July 13); and submissions for Scientific Presentation abstracts encompassing Platform Research Oral Sessions and Posters will open on Wednesday, June 20 (and close August 29). SAHM partners with The Lancet on adolescent health symposium

On April 26, 2012, The Lancet, the Centre for Adolescent Health in Melbourne, Australia, the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) presented an academic symposium titled, “Adolescents: From the Margins to the Mainstream of Global Health.” The symposium was held in conjunction with the launch of The Lancet's second "Series on Adolescent Health" and the 45th Session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development.
