The Northern California Chapter of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine has been an active chapter for the past 25 years. Currently, chapter members reside in areas ranging from Sacramento to Monterey: active membership is over 100 members.

The Chapter meets on a quarterly basis with an evening dinner meeting and a speaker presentation. Some of our most recent speakers have been Caitlin Ryan, MSW, ACSW who spoke on the Family Acceptance Project and Janet Shalwitz, M.D., Director of the Adolescent Health Working Group, who spoke on “Creating Tools and Tricks: Does It Make a Difference?”
