Texas Regional Chapter

The Texas Regional Chapter of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (TXSAHM) is a multidisciplinary organization committed to improving the physical and psychosocial health and well being of all adolescents and young adults. TXSAHM promotes adolescent and young adult health and fosters communication among professionals who care for youth. It encourages collaborative efforts and projects in health care delivery, professional development, advocacy, and research. Currently, the members include educators, public health officials, nurses, and physicians.

Membership is open to any professional that has substantial interest in the health and well-being of adolescents and young adults. TXSAHM meets three times a year. Two meetings, one in the fall and one in the spring, are held in Texas. An additional meeting is held during the annual national meeting of SAHM.

The annual dues are $35.00 per year for doctorate level members and $25.00 per year for non-doctorate level members.
