HOFMANN VISITING PROFESSOR IN ADOLESCENT MEDICINE AND HEALTH


The SAHM Visiting Professor in Adolescent Medicine was established in 1986 with the first award being given in 1987. The Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine offers this annual event to provide an educational experience in Adolescent Medicine for a group of health care providers who may not otherwise have the opportunity to benefit from the Professor's expertise. In March 2003, this award was re-named the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine/Adele D. Hofmann Visiting Professor in Adolescent Medicine and Health. The award is financially supported by Dr. Hofmann's children, Annie Gardiner and Peter Hofmann.

ROBERT H. DURANT AWARD FOR STATISTICAL RIGOR AND INNOVATION IN ADOLESCENT HEALTH RESEARCH

SAHM/CARLOTTA SIMONS DIABETES AWARD IN ADOLESCENT HEALTH


The Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine/Carlottta Simons Diabetes Award in Adolescent Health was defined in 2000 with the first award given in 2001. This award is supported through a donation by a physician deeply committed to adolescent health and well-being.
