Be an advocate encouraging others to join SAHM
Participate on SAHM-Listserv - get your name out there; let others know the topics in which you excel
Submit suggestions for Position Papers/Position Statement to the Director of Publications. If suggestion accepted, volunteer to develop policy
Attend the SAHM Annual Meeting
Submit a proposal and lead a Workshop/Institute at an Annual Meeting - proposals for the 2014 Annual Meeting in Austin, TX can be submitted starting in June, 2013
Submit Research/Case Studies for consideration for next Annual Meeting - abstracts for the 2014 Annual Meeting in Austin, TX can be submitted starting in June, 2013
Participate in Your Regional Chapter (if none in your state/area, start one)

Write a Newsletter Article

You are invited to write and submit articles for the SAHM Newsletter. Editorial Due Dates are:

            April 15th
            July 15th
            October 15th
            January 15th

Articles may be sent electronically to either Kasia Chalko, SAHM National Office, or to Becky O'Brien, SAHM Newsletter Editor.
