Why are you a SAHM member? I became a SAHM member in the early 80's after completing an adolescent health training program. It was then and remains now a terrific home base from which to keep current with changes in adolescent health, network with colleagues, be stimulated by research and practice innovations and advocate on behalf of adolescents. |

| Why do you attend SAHM conferences? As someone who does research with adolescent participants, I think it is vital to be aware of this age group’s physical, emotional and social concerns. At a SAHM conference, besides enjoying time with great colleagues, I can easily learn the “latest” about teenagers. It keeps me in the know. |
