Adolescent Health Advocacy Training
The Adolescent Health Advocacy Training was a two-day event held in Washington D.C. before the 2016 Annual Meeting.
Day one included the Advocacy Training Workshop, which provided an in-depth training session on how to advocate at the federal level, led by experienced adolescent providers and professional staff from the American Academy of Pediatrics with expertise in federal policy.
The Advocacy Training event culminated on day two with visits to congressional offices on Capitol Hill to advocate for key legislative issues impacting adolescents.
