Presenter Information


Provided below is some helpful information regarding your upcoming presentation at the 2016 SAHM Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.  Please feel free to contact Melissa Schwedel directly should you have questions not addressed below. 
Financial Disclosure Presentation Slide
Please use the attached slide as the first slide of your upcoming presentation.  You are not required to use the template for any other slide, however you may if you so choose.

  • All Presenters are responsible for registering for the Annual Meeting and securing their own travel arrangements.  There is no registration discount for SAHM members who are presenting; however you’re encouraged to register prior to midnight on February 11 to secure early registration rates.
  • All Presenters must register by February 26, 2016.

Handouts (Optional, but recommended)
  • SAHM will be electronically distributing handouts of those speakers who choose to share them with registered attendees prior to the meeting.  Presenters interested in having their handouts distributed to attendees prior to the meeting must submit them to SAHM HQ at by Monday, February 29, 2016.  Handouts must be in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or PDF formats, and cannot exceed 5 MB per file. Also, please be sure to include your name in the title of the file you are sending.
  • If you choose to distribute hard copies of your handouts, you will be responsible for copying and providing them at the meeting.
  • If your slide material, handout, cases and/or narratives include published material, you must obtain copyright permission. Charts, graphs, tables, illustrations and pictures require copyright permission from the copyright holder if it has been published or is in press. 
Speaker Ready Desk
Presenters must bring their presentation on a flash drive to the AV technician 24 hours prior to your session at the Speaker Ready Desk conveniently located in the registration area. The presentations will be loaded onto the computer in the designated meeting room. If you aren’t able to visit the Speaker Ready Desk a day in advance, please do so as early as possible on the morning of your presentation.

Tuesday, March 8 – 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 9 - 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 10  - 7:00 a.m. –  5:00 p.m.
Friday, March 11 - 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 12 - 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
