Center for Adolescent Health & the Law
The Center for Adolescent Health & the Law works to create a legal and policy environment that promotes the health of adolescents and their access to health care through conducting research, analyzing legal and policy issues, preparing publications, providing training and technical assistance, and engaging in advocacy.  The Center is a project of Advocates for Youth and directed by Abigail English, JD.  Descriptive and contact information is available on-line, but otherwise the site is still under construction.

HIPAA Medical Privacy
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Civil Rights web site presents the text of the health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 Final Privacy Rule and publishers updates, supporting documents, and technical assistance on its implementation.

National Center for Youth Law
The NCYL is a private, non-profit law office with the principle function of assisting attorneys and other youth advocates in addressing the complex legal problems that face poor children and adolescents and their families through providing legal information and technical assistance, conducting ongoing training programs, and serving as co-counsel in cases with broad impact. This site contains descriptions of Center activities; a bibliography of Center reports, papers and analyses (including adolescent health and juvenile justice), some of which are downloadable in Adobe Acrobat format; and a list of Web links to public policy organizations and clearinghouses, state & federal government agencies, and California legislative resources.
