Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
In addition to organizational information about AACAP, this
site provides tables of contents and article abstracts of
JAACAP since 1996; detailed summaries of AACAP practice parameters
for the assessment and treatment of related mental health
disorders; psychiatric CPT codes; on-line facts sheets for
parents on behavioral and emotional issues of children and
adolescents (available in English, Spanish and French); a
publications list; and a search engine for locating adolescent
and child psychiatrists by state and town.
Children
and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
CHADD is a national non-profit organization for children and
adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and their
families. Activities include education, advocacy and support
through a national office and 500 regional chapters. This
site contains fact sheets on the diagnosis and treatment of
AD/HD, legal rights, parenting, and education; legislative
information; organizational information; a regional chapter
locator; and an on-line store for ordering annual conference
audio and video tapes, fact sheets in bulk, and books.
