TeenGrowth offers a secure environment to search for, request and receive health care information on topics such as alcohol, drugs, emotions,
health, family, friends, school, sex and sports.
TeenGrowth was established in 1999 to address the growing trend of teenagers turning to the Internet for health information. The site’s
Medical Advisory Board is comprised of pediatricians from around the United States, who provide and review all of its content. The site
focuses only on health issues. It is copyrighted by KG Investments, LLC. and affiliated with the Pediatric Health Care Alliance, P.A.,
the largest pediatric medical group on the West coast of Florida.
Major activities of the site include answers to questions from teens on many adolescent health issues, and information about weight
control and physical growth. The site provides BMI and predicted height calculators.
The website has a listing of crisis hotlines. Teens may register their e-mail address with the site and receive answers to health-related
questions and a weekly e-mail newsletter about health issues.
