Networking/Career Advancement Sessions

Goal: The SAHM 2018 Networking/Career Advancement sessions are being offered to provide meeting attendees an opportunity to meet and informally discuss shared research, clinical, and/or advocacy interests with recognized leaders in the field of adolescent health and medicine.
Structure: Each session will have a panel of 3-4 professors in attendance who will briefly describe their areas of expertise during the first 15 minutes of the session. The session will then break out into a round table format so attendees can speak openly with the experts who share similar interest. A moderator will be present to respond to questions and ensure sessions remain on time. After 20 minutes, the moderator will offer to allow participants to switch tables. Attendees are encouraged to network with the professors as well as each other in order to share advice for career advancement.
