SAHM 2021 Annual Meeting - Virtual


SAHM has submitted applications to the following accreditors for 19.5 CME/ 17.5 CE credits for LIVE Virtual Sessions.

Credit will also be available for select session recordings.
*AAFP Credit will only be available for sessions viewed live.


The sum of your LIVE + RECORDED credit hours should not exceed the maximum of 50.5 CME/ 45.5 CE hours.
You cannot claim live and recorded credit for the same session.
 

CME/CE Evaluations and Certificates

Within one week after the conference, participants who purchased CM/CE will receive an email with a link and detailed instructions to complete your online evaluations and print your certificate. You will be asked to complete your evaluations by April 19, 2021.

There will be separate evaluation links for the Live Version and Recorded Version of the conference. Please be aware, that not all sessions will be offered as recordings, due to planned breakout sessions. You cannot claim live and recorded credit for the same session. It will be important to keep track of the sessions that you have viewed both live and as recordings.

Download this Attendance Log to keep track of the sessions you attend and reference when completing your evaluation. Credit will only be awarded for session(s) you have attended in full; no partial credit will be awarded. After you have completed the session evaluations, you will immediately be able to print your CME/CE Certificate.

Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety.  Partial credit of individual sessions is not available.   OR    You must attend the entire webinar as partial credit is not available.  (For Enduring / On-Demand APA credits you also need to pass a posttest with a score of at least 80%).  If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

Social Workers
SW.jpgAs a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social Workers completing this course receive 17.5 Live Activity / 36.5 Enduring Material GENERAL continuing education credits. The AAFP has reviewed SAHM 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting-Mapping an Agenda to Transform the Future of Adolescent Health and deemed it acceptable for up to 19.50 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 03/08/2021 to 03/12/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Objectives - After attending this program you should be able to:

  1. Promote psychological well-being by engaging in practices that acknowledge and integrate the protective power of relationships.
  2. Implement effective strategies that promote psychological well-being among youth in the context of conflict, disaster, and flight.
  3. Promote psychological well-being in the context of immigrant youth experiences.
