COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures

SAHM is looking forward to getting back together in-person in San Diego, March 9-12, 2022. Creating a healthy and COVID-appropriate environment for all attendees and staff is of the utmost importance to SAHM. We are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and are closely following public health guidelines in the state of California and in the city of San Diego to ensure we meet health and safety protocols.

To help with your planning, we wanted to share the following Q&As.

Q. Will SAHM require attendees to be vaccinated?

Vaccination is required in order to attend the meeting or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of travel.

To ensure the highest levels of safety, all attendees are required when registering for the conference to:

  • Upload proof of full vaccination or undergo a PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours before traveling (results must be provided to staff before entering the meeting space)
  • When registering attendees will be required to attest to the following:
    • that they will wear a mask at all times
    • maintain social distancing
    • self-monitor for any COVID-19 symptoms and report to SAHM staff if they are feeling unwell.
Q. Will SAHM require attendees to wear masks?
A. SAHM is requesting that all attendees wear a mask while attending the meeting.  PLEASE NOTE: This is a fluid situation, and mandates that do or don’t exist today may change by the time of the meeting in March.
